Non contact boxing class. This class incorporates the 'sweet science' with an effective work out utilizing a wide range of heavy bags and strike pads. Also expect a good Ab work out!
Kick Boxing has become a very popular alternative fitness session. The combination of oriental and european kicking styles and our very own traditional boxing techniques has produced a very effective self defense and sport. This work out will incorporate intervals of rounds and rest periods and will relieve stress and improve your fitness.
Mixed Martial Arts has exploded into the martial art scene since the birth of the Ultimate Fighting Championship, when the need for a complete all-round fighting system was needed. Our MMA Clinch class focus is on the stand up game, incorporating striking and takedowns. The Clinch being considered a place where traditional boxers would rest, but where the MMA fighter is looking to use unorthodoxed striking methods and dynamic throws. This is a very important class for the Mixed Martial Artist.
Great class for co-ordination, timing and fitness. Learn single and double stick and defence against knife attacks. This weapon art was studied by the late Bruce Lee.
For those who want to improve their sparring techniques and ring craft for interclubs, gradings and competition. Sparring drills are progressed into full sparring, under strict supervision. Safety equipment is mandatory and to be worn during this session
Introductory class for the those starting out their martial arts journey. Sessions will include basic kick boxing techniques and will focus on developing discipline, flexibility, fitness and balance. Game activities will also be incorporated to develop communication, fair play and teamwork.
Juniors can learn an important self defence system whilst also developing their personal fitness. students may also want to grade and go onto to participate in various interclub events that are held regularly throughout the year.
MMA Submission takes up where MMA Clinch left off. Ground fighting class which will deal with getting positions, reversals, striking and submission techniques including chokes, arm bars and leg locks.
National sport of Thailand. Thai Boxing or Muay Thai has become even more popular since featuring in the film "Ong Bak". Similar to kick boxing with the advantage of also incorporating elbow and knee strikes, Thai Boxing is a great class for self defense and fitness.
